hey guys. i got a 2,3,or 4 channel amp (280 W max) and a 10 inch sub. i was wonderin how i should wire it. its been a while since i knew how to hook up subs to amps, so i wanna get some backup. theres a couple hookups that say "bridged" so im thinkin i gotta use those...? doesnt that mean the 2 channels are just combined into 1? thanks
if its a 2 channel amp then bridging it combines both channels into 1 channel, but more than likely you have to have a four ohm load from the sub. I would not use an amp to drive a sub that was anymore than 2 channels
