hello folks,

I am running 3 sets of infinity reference 6.5 components in a tacoma xcab.. ppi ax400

One 12" reference sub in the back....jbl bp600.1

thinking of making new box that will fit two ten inch subs in same space, half the back seat, replace the jbl with a ppi a/b amp. that should be stereo?

have room for eight inch speakers in rear factory location for some added midbass

have speaker pods made from pvc mounted on kick panels and tweets mounted over dash with tweets from the rear mounted top of windshield..

running an alpine cda-9833 head unit, grounded rca cables and two gauge power wire, 1.5 farad capacitor.

How can I get rid of the tweeters from the rear components, just remove them from the crossover or do I need to run a four ohm dummy load?or if I remove the tweeter will the woofer run in 2 ohms?

and in the mean time any help on some speaker ideas would be much appreciated,
I hear the infinity kappa's are loud, loud, loud, but the tweeter is harsh
what would be a loud component 6.5 that would be more nuetral
I listen mostly to Live concerts and liberated boot legs so I like the music to sound the way it is supposed too..

o.k. enough out of me, someone smack me and say...Shut Up!!

have a great night all, stay well
