You run the subs to amp in a parrallel connection.

there should be 2 pos and 2 neg terminals on each voice coil, all you have to do is run pos to pos, and neg to neg from voice coil to voice coil

You don't actually split the wire in two, just get two pieces of wire. I felt it was easier to put terminals on my box then run the wires inside. So I ran my amp positive to a positive terminal on my box. Then take another piece of wire and put it in with the one you just put in the positive terminal and run that to the next positive terminal. Do the same for the negatives and your subs are run in parallel.

if the speaker wire you're using is a large enough guage, you can definately just attach 2 wires to one wire as a way of "splitting" it.

i did it with a 350 watt alpine amp and a 350 watt dual 4-ohm voice coil infinity sub wired to 2 ohms and it's loud as my mom on my dad.
