I'm trying to add some low end to my system. Currently I've got all infinity kappa (6x9's, 4x6's, 1 inch tweeters) and two perfect 10.1's powered by a kicker 600.1. One of the 10's is in the trunk, the other in a custom case between the front 2 seats. The other speakers run on a kicker 800.4. I love the sound right now (I listen to mostly metal or alternative) but I feel like I'm missing a little low end.
For this low end, should I switch out the 10.1 in the back with a 12DVQ and run it 2 ohm while keeping the 10.1 in the custom case at 4 ohm? This drops the ohm load for the 600.1 down to like 1.25...kinda scary. Or should I just add another sub to the system itself so I have 2 10's and a 12?
Sorry if this is confusing, but I'd greatly appreciate input since a lot of you really know what you're talking about!
