ok, I recently installed these and they sound great, but when they get too loud I notice they completely shut off, then when I turn the volumn down they go back on... I am underpowering them in wattage so why would they ever shut off? Im thinking its a protection mode which makes sense, the amp does not shut off when they go off, I think its a protection in the crossover, does anyone know? and when I installed them the woofer is SNUG to my door window, so if I roll them down it blocks the hole in back of the woofer, would this damage it? I have refrained from rolling them down too low. I have the crossovers set for +5Db. the options are 0 Db, -4 Db, or +5 Db. I chose +5 Db figuring it would be the loudest, anyone whose very knowledgable on the settings of them and could help me make them perfect please contact me at AIM:Msully70 or reply.
