about a week ago i bought a 15" Phoenix gold xmax in a box for $170. this sub has long since been discontinued and i cannot find any info on it. can abybody please help me out? (watts, good deal? anything)
and i have a chance to buy a Phoenix Gold 500.2 amp from the same guy. he wants $500 for the amp and says it is perfect for the sub. Any advice here?
$500 for Phoenix Gold amp? For that amount, you should consider getting Xtant amp someone's selling on here. Read the threads. JL 500/1 is a better amp than Phoenix. There are much more choices, so don't settle for something your friend is selling.
