Ok heres the deal... I just got my new car

99 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited

I have money for a system but im stuck between 2 types.

2 JL 12 W7s on 2 JL 1000/1 amps

or

2 RE SX15s on 2 JL 1000/1 amps.

Ive heard the JLs and i like them alot, but the price is killing me.

I havent heard the REs, but they are a hella lot cheaper, for the same power(1000rms) and 4dbs higher than the JLs, 86(JL) to 90(RESX). Any input would be appreciated greatly.

well I would personally go with the RE's they will outperform the w7's in sound quality and SPL in my opinon. You are comparing 12's to 15's so they are deff gonna be louder do to surface area, and I personally dont like the SQ of the w7's anyways so there ya have it.

yeh im going to have to agree with James on this one. the Re's will outperform the w7 in both categories. And fonr some reason i just dont think W7's sound good. Bu sq is totally personal opinion.

the jl audio 1000/1 would work perfect with those subs.
