U would only have to put the amp up about half way to get the full power. If u put the power all the way up then ur doors rattle n if u got ne knicks in ur windshield, they'll start splitting and it'll shadder so its mroe then enouhg. If u get the 1000/1, i kow a guy who did, he wasted his money cuz he only put it up about 1 twnth of the way up n already had full power.

NO micheal, cooterlips what are you ltaking about a 1000/1 at full power is perfect for 2 w6v2's, and a 500/1 would underpower them. its only enough to effectively run one. you have been misinformed about the strength of it, cause the doors wont rattle, and u cant shadder a windshield ESPECIALLY WITH 2 of those subs

There's an easier way of shattering your windshield. It's called a phat a$$! Ha ha just kidding. It'll be very heard to break a windshield with sound waves. Those glass may crack, but it won't shatter. Maybe your side windows.

I agree completely with what sub said but he forgot to mention that gain isnt used as volume control, you match the head units output to the sensitivity input on the amp. if your head unit puts out 4 volts and the amp accepts 1volt-4volts then you put it up all the way if your deck puts out 2volts you put it up about 1/2 its that easy. The 1000/1 will work very well for two of those subs Michael trust me.

no joseph, the ti's can beat a w7, ive done it, my single 15 ti hits 146.4 dbs tuned to 32 hrtz with 550 watts rms, i stomped on my freidns 12w7 with a 1000/1 ported box tuned to 43 hrtz. this sub would easily beats a w6v2 as well, its not up for argument with me

Sub,I have no doubt you beat you friend and his setup but to base a comparison of quality and spl between two totally different setups in two totally different vehicles and take the conclusion as concrete is not only ignorant but quite farcicle. Even though I respect all you say in this forum and think you have some very good suggestions, I would have hoped that your love and admiration for your own system would not have made you closed minded towards "better setups". In no way am I trying to challenge your manhood by replying so don't take this as a personal attack.
