im new to all this stereo stuff so try not to laugh at me too much, but i went to this shop to see how much they would charge to hook up my 2 kicker subs to my 300w kenwood amp and my cd deck, and he said about 100 i think. but then he said i would probably need a bigger amp to push my kickers. is he right? do i need a bigger amp? and is he ripping me off with that price? thanks in advance.

Wich Kickers is you're amp going to, and what is the amps spec's?
Is that including wiring. That isn't bad, but you could prob do it yourself, unless you don't trust yourself.:-)

hmm even without specs i would say you would need more watts for the subs...you could puch it with that, but more than likly it would be underpowering. ok price for installation since it's including the wireing. circuit city will charge like 120 without parts. installing it isn't hard, it's a matter of looking at pictures.

The link didn't work for me. What is the name of the amp?
www.bcae1.com is a pretty good website to learn about car audio. Take a look at that and see what you learn!
