Just installed a head unit, but Security LED does not flash, and Radio Memory does not record in memory? what did i connect wrong?

Just installed a head unit, but Security LED does not flash, and Radio Memory does not record in memory? what did i connect wrong?

the +12V constant is wrong, or the ground is wrong.

what do u mean by "wrong"
do u mean that the ground and 12v i need to change over?

is it even possible to connect them wrong?
because isnt it just one wire to one wire :-)
i dont see how one canm connect it wrong.. (loose maybe but wrong no idea) please instruct :-) thanks for your help

I mean either your +12 constant isn't connected to an actual constant +12 line from the car, or the ground isn't connected to a good ground point.
Things like your illumination wire from the car will function as a ground, until you turn on the lights. Then lo and behold, it becomes a +12 line.
I'm saying you wired the ehad unit to the wrong wires in the car.
