I have four T81044a MTX 10" subs in four .50 sealed enclosures.
I have four RF farad capacitors.

I had four RF 301m 300w monoblock amps; one for each sub.

I was lead to believe that having four seperate amps was not ideal so i decided to consolidate and purchased an Orion 2500d to replace the four 301m's.

After a two months of trying to achieve the same clarity and impact in bass (including talking with DEI, Authorized dealers and other knowledgable sources) i am almost ready to yank the Orion and reinstall the 301m's.

i just received a 205amp alternator which i am hoping will improve the Orions output.

Thus far my experience with Class D amps is not encouraging...Class A/B seems to produce a cleaner, tighter bass...
