ok i tried to put my dig. cap. in and i got a ton of feedback thru my speakers so i moved me ground wire around to different spots and still feedback. how do install a capacitor and plz explain very clearly i have seen diagrams and still dont really understand i need sumone to tell me how to plz
What do you mean by feedback? Are you talking about engine noise? To use the cap, you first have to charge it. You can use a 12v light bulb to do this. Very simple. Connect the cap's pos to battery, ground to one side of light bulb, and the other to the battery's neg/ground. The light should be lit till the cap becomes fully charged. It will go out once that happens. Now connect the capacitor to the amp in parallel (pos to pos, and neg to neg). Make sure it's 12" or less from the amp.
