How to hook up 2 amps with 4 subs

i have a 980 watt max power acustic amp and i would like too add another because i have 2 12's in my trunk now and i am in the prosses of adding 2 more 12's so how would i hook up the amps with out running all new cords too the back

get a power distrobution block, run your main power wire from your battery to the block, and then from the other side of the block to each amp...i sure hope your car can handle the power needed for running 2 amps.....

what about having a capasitor? before the power dis. block, would that solve your problem because im in the same situation.

a capacitor cant replace the need for a high output alternator...if anything adding a cap will make things worse because that needs to be charged as well...

in most cases u can just put a ho alternator in and have no need for a cap. usually about 50 dollars more for a alternator and well worth the money if u have a high amp draw
