power acoustik's BL series 15" are great for the price, use a ported enclosure to increase SPL. (depending on the space you have)I have 2 15" BL's in my ford ranger ext. cab truck and they sound great. There the cheapest subs they make and are nice if your not comp. www.poweracoustik.com

Adire Audio Shivas are some of the best budget subs. Kicker Comp VRs are good, the Infinity Kappa Perfects are cheap online and good for the price.
