I have a how to question. I'm getting tired of everyone I know having a better sound system in their car when I drive a better car than them. So I want to try something out. How would I go about installing two Home Stereo speakers I have from an old entertainment center in my car? Now what I'm trying to do is take out my rear door speakers and install these boxes like door speakers and house them in my trunk. The speakers all end up on a male RCA cable ,and I have bought wiring harness adapters so there is speaker wire now to attatch the male rca plug too. But what do I do? My general question is how do I make this speaker wire connect to my male rca plug to power these speakers? I would be most gracious for an answer and your thoughts. Thanks

As far as I know, a speaker is a speaker. I know if you plug a car speaker into your hi-fi it plays fine, so why not vice versa. So long as the watts are ok, just wire it the same as you would the car speaker.
