i have a type r 12" 4 ohm DVC runnin off a M300 not 301!!! M300 (so people dont get confused) because theres like a 50 watt differnce between the 2 amps.
the type r is 300watts rms
so correct me if im wrong too say that i am runnin at 1/2 power because the sub is a 4ohm so its rated in the alpine catalog as 150 x 1 rms @ 4ohm 14.4v
because i was told that i wasnt runnin 1/2 power but i dont see how i am? could someone plz explain this too me cause im new to this
heres a site to see full specs on it BUT it says the rms power output at 4 ohms is 100watt so im confused?!?!

NO you are not running that sub at half power. Its a 4ohm DVC sub. Which means you cant wire that sub to a 4 ohm load. You can wire it in a 2 or 8 ohm load. Tell me how dfo you have the sub wire in the box.

Ok, since you're sub sub is a DVC sub the sub can't be wired at 4 0hm's it can only be wired at 2 ohms or 8 ohms? because in your first post you said the sub was running at 4 ohm's and it cant be. So i was asking how is your sub wired inside of the enlcousure because that would make a difference in the ohm load.
