so im still stuck b/w a pair of brahms 12's and pair of re triple x 12's ...i know these subs are very similar ive only heard the x.x.x and will only go with xbl2 subs from now on so with reccomended wattages/ enclosures....is there any real audible difference in the sql level?? please advise those that have heard both ( p.s. id like to possibly go with the avalanches but i really dont have the time to wait a few months for there release date)
wait for the avalanches, if thats what you really want, you'll be happier in the end, rather than kicking your self for being too hasty and then spending more money to get what you wanted originally
You can't get Brahmas right now yet either because Adire is still phasing in their new line of stuff. Plus, another thing to consider is the new Brahmas have 3mm less Xmax than the MkII and a 2.5 voice coil instead of a 3" one. I love the Brahmas but and Adire says that they sound the same, but I'm startin to lean towards RE myself
