the alpine type-E swe 1241 two 12" or the kicker comp 03c124 two 12" there bolth same price but which would have more SLP and SQ. they will be powered by a MTX audio thunder 421d amp 210 rms@ 4ohm, 420 peak.
The Alpine is there bottom line sub, so I think the Kicker is the better option. The Kicker isn't that bad of a sub for the price. I was actually suprised at the sound of them.
I agree with Andy. The type has greater excursion capabilities then the comp. type e - 11.7 mm one way comp - 7.5 mm one way The alpine would probaly win in sq as well. But personaly i would look at infinities reference line as well. IMO they sound better then the alpines and are equally as loud.
