Currently I have two 15" RE SX's(well one of them is acutally mixed with Orion HCCA15d parts) Anyway, These are in a small 91 EscortGT. Surprised I even fit them to tell ya the truth. I have the subs fireing towards my back seat since the box is too high to make them fire at the back window since its a hatchback. Just wondering if it makes much of a difference db wise if its faceing this way instead?

Well those cars are contoured very nice for bass. Kinda like the old mustangs. I have heard a 15 in a escort GT before and the speaker was firing into the back of the seat also. To make a long story short it sounded awsome. absolutely awsome. I wouldnt worry about it much.

Alright, It does sound excellent but just wasnt sure if I should go ahead and make a smaller box if I would hear a big difference with it fireing towards the glass, But I really dont think it could get any better than how it sounds now. Thanks

no prob. Have you tried to fire them up towards your glass? I used to see alot of old mustangs with the subd fired up and they used to sound incredible.

I had my 2-12's fireing towards the glass, which sounded good, I cant do that with the 15s cause if I do my trunk wont close.
