More power out of a JBL BP600.1?

I think I've heard something about connecting all 4 of the RCA cables to get more power out of the JBL BP600.1 amp. Is that true, if so how do you do it? Also about how many more watts will this help put out

its nor really more power your just using all of the amps inputs which gives the amp a higer input signal. Just go to radio shack or an audio shop and pick up two Y adapter splitters. They have one female input and split inot two males.

So what exactly will a higher output signal do?

Just to note, it simply seems to help those specific amps for some odd reason. It doesn't work on every amp and isn't a common procedure. You'll see benefit using Y splitters on all the inputs, though.
