If your running one sub that is dvc 2 ohms, your going to need a 1 ohm stable amp.

thats not true. you can run the subs at 1 ohm, but you could also run them at 4 or 2 ohms. its all in how you wire it.

if you have one speaker with 2 ohm dvc's, there is no way to leave that speaker at 2 ohms. Its either going to go to a 4 or 1 ohm load. You cannot have a dvc sub and use only one coil that will damge the sub.

not true. if you have a 2 channel amp that is 2 ohm stable, you could wire 1 channel to 1 voice coil, and the other channel to the other voice coil. thats 2 ohms.

im not sure about all 2-channel amps, but i have one and it only has one gain knob. so that might not be a problem.
