Hi, I have a Hifonics NX600 2 ohm stable amp and 2 Kicker CVR 12s with dual voice coil speakers and they are going in a sealed box. How do I hook up the wires from the amp to the speakers? Do I hook each speaker individually in parallel to each channel? When the amp is 2 ohm stable and it says you get 300W RMS X 2 at 2 ohms, what does that mean? Each channel can be at 2 ohms since each speaker has dual voice coils? How do I get the most out of this amp?

wire the coils of each sub in parallel
put one sub on each channel of the amplifier.
that's 2 Ohms stereo.
that's max output for the amp.

Isnt two 2 ohm loads a 1 ohm total load on the amp? This is what Hifonics says with thier 750 D class amp. That 2 subs wired for 2 ohms each produces a total of a 1 ohm load on the amp itself.

Nope its 2 ohm load on the amp If you have 2 subs wired in parallel to get 2 ohms set to diffrent channels. If it was all hooked up to 1 channel then yea you would have a 1 ohm load.
