Screwing in a sub question (glass what do you do)

Ok, so I am going to mount my sub in my custom box ...my question is what size screw to use (length). Is it ok for the screw to break through the front baffle? or would I want it to penetrate only half of the front baffle? Or am just being ridiculous and shouldn't worry about this?

Well, I think you shouldn't worry about it really. My screws go all the way through. You want the sub to be well secured onto your box, or it could rattle or start to jar loose.

yes always predrill or you will split the wood and it will chip off. also use a screw bit that has a protective sleeve, or you puncture a whole ind the surrounding.

T-nuts are the best option. Screws should go all the way through the box, you should have as many threads as possible going through.
