I am helping a friend install a bulldog remote starter on his 2001 dakota. The question I have, is he has an existing Viper alarm (not sure what model) how should the install differ from normal with the existing alarm?
you have to look at the bulldog to see if it has a start activation wire (a wire that will start the alarm when it recieves a negative pulse). if it dosen't have a wire that can do that, you can't use it. if it does, you'll have to find the extra channel on the alarm (usually a white and blue wire). then install the remote start and connect the activation wire to the extra channel off the viper.
I have a autopage car remote. Where can i find a wiring diagram for this remote. I am putting this into a 1998 Buick LeSabre Custom. I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks
