Has anybody here used one? I am thinking about making one, and i was wondering about the sound quality form the fiberglass enclosure.

How does it sound compared to a traditional wood box?

If it's done well, it can sound pretty much as good as wood. They just need some work. You have to remember with fiberglass that any panel you create absolutely HAS to be curved to have any strength to it. After that, sound deaden the inside of the enclosure and use polyfill. It helps. Last thing is to make it pretty thick so it's strong. You should be able to stand on a fiberglass enclosure with no problem at all.
