I'm tryin' to help a friend get some aftermarket speakers for his '98 3000GT. It really isn't posted anywhere, but in the dash, there is a 2.5" speaker (pretty sure not a tweeter..it has a surround and all that). Any recommendations on what I should look at that would fit? My friend would like to get a speaker and not a tweeter if possible. Anybody have a 3000GT and replaced this speaker? Any recommendations? Thanks for the help!!
I wouldnt even bother spending money on a 2.5", A speaker that small is a gonna sound like crap either way. It's hard to find them aswell. IF he does really want to replace it though I'd suggest just put some good tweeters up front or make the speaker hole bigger.
