Thursday, December 30, 2004 - 22:20 GMT Mylar, polypropylene and polyester are some used, but generally cost a bit more. the least expensive route is non-polarized electrolytic/ for inductors, the best are air-core coils. for capacitors, polypropylene capacitors are the best.

Sunday, January 02, 2005 - 17:45 GMT I'd just use polypro caps that are designed and sold specifically for audio crossovers, like ones from PAC. how much is the amp putting out per channel RMS?
