I'm thinking My 1997 Tahoe could use a "upgrade" and I'm seriously considering these components!!
1. Will they fit in factory door location
2. Do you need to replace rear door speakers as well ?
3. Where can a guy get a good buy on these..

All info greatly appreciated... :-)

1) Yep
2) Depends on if you want to impress rear passengers or not. Another midbass wouldn't hurt, but I wouldn't recommend going all out and putting components back there, it will affect the front soundstage. Ideally IMO just front components are a better option.
3) www.acoustic-visions.com

If you haven't heard them yet, the Kodas are an excellent component set. The midrange is great and has excellent midbass for a 6.5" speaker, the system overall is well balanced. They do work very well in stock locations, as they claim, the off axis response is very accurate. The tweeter is very detailed and isn't harsh. Hope this helps.

Jonathan:
Very informative and appreciated.
Just looking for a little better sound & bass without major interior/install hassles.
I like the stock look but my kid thinks these Kodas are needed with the Alpine deck he convinced me to put in.
I'll replace the OEM fronts with the Kodas and see how it goes ...
