where is the best place to pick up a new Brahma 15? I was also looking at a place that the ADIRE website recomends for boxes and they only have sealed is this what I should go with or should I get a ported box made for this sub? I figured ported because I am only gonna be giving it 600watts so in a ported box it would require less power than sealed. Well let me know I am putting it in a cherokee so space doesnt matter I just dont really trust the local shops to build the box the way they want so I would like to go in there with specs in hand that way they cabt screw things up. also I should use 1in mdf over 3/4 with this sub correct? thanks again man. as for sealed or ported, use the sub's TS specs and this formula to decide:
Efficiency Bandwidth Product (EBP) EBP = Fs / Qes 50 or less = best used in a sealed enclosure. 50 - 90 = flexible enclosure options. 90 or greater = best used in ported enclosure.
