8 inch

Need some opinions on some 8 inch subs. I chose 8 inch cause im trying to work behind my seat of my truck and i really dont want to pull the bench all the way forward. So im looking for some 8 inch subs that will pound. I have 500 dollars to get subs and im sure that willl be enoug.

Used to have some 8" Kicker CVR's and they sounded pretty good for 8" subs.

if you need 8" subs that are shallow, earthquake just released 8,10 and 12" low profile woofers. they are up in the $200+ JL audio price range, but if mounting depth is an issue, they might be what you're looking for.

i read one favorable review for a different earthquake woofer somewhare, so i'd imagine their low profile woofers aren't shabby.

The only 8" sub I used so far are the MTX T688, Their pretty good for how cheap you can get them.(20-40 on ebay)

I'm no expert but I have the same issue you have and I have been looking for some sub's. Here are a couple

Kicker S8L7
ID8's V.2,V.3
CM3 08D4 by Diamond audio
They are under 5" mounting depth.

There is a bunch more you just have to look hope this helped
