hey guys,

I want to upgrade my car's stock system, but i dont hav all the money now. I've decided to upgrade part now and part later on when i hav some more cash.

I was wondering what part of my system should i upgrade first, should i put in the HU, sub and sub amp first and later on do the components, midbasses and comp. amp or vice versa.

The system i hav in mind is;

SUB- 1 12''x.x.x
SUB AMP- bx1000
HU- cda 9835
COMP SET- adire koda 6.1
REAR FILL- 2 adire koda 8'' midbass drivers
AMP FOR SPEAKERS- ? [any suggestions]

I'd probably go in this order:

head unit
front speakers
rear speakers
4 channel amp for the speakers
sub amp
sub(s)

that gives you a listenable system all the way through the process, with the most noticeable changes as you go.

Ok thanks for the advice glass, i'd go with ur suggestion.

For those components and midbass speakers, what kind of amp would u suggest.
The ting is, adire says the rms ratings are only thermal, so how would i know how much juice is enough.

Thanks bro.

the koda comps will do great with about 50 watts per channel. maybe 75 at most.
the midbass drivers I'd give 50-100 watts each depending on where you put them, etc..
re'q power varies but its usually around 80% of thermal RMS handling or so.. ballpark
