Has anyone heard an MTX sledgehammer enclosure with the 9500's? Do they sound good and loud?
I'm thinking of getting one with one 15" 9500 along with a thunder 1501d amp and i wanna know if this sh*t will be loud while still maintaining some sound quality. Thanks negros.

If you want a very loud enclosure, check out www.powered4sound.com
They make a box called the snailshell; it'll pump that 9500.

In my opinion, those sledgehammer boxs are probably the smallest optimal size available...you may be better of biulding it yourself...

YO ERIC, what ever you do do not get that MTX 9500.That thing sucks so much balls, its unbelievable. have you seen the price? so not worth it. i just sold my 15", with 2 boxes, for $450. i just wanted to get rid of it. now i'm going with a 15" x.x.x., give that a try. pretty good from what i've been hearing in this forum.we'll see.i had the 4ohm DVC by the way. running it with an infinity 1210a amp 856 x 1 @ 4 ohms 1300w x 1 @ 2 ohms wich i think its an awesome amp. give it a try see for yourself
