I wanna get some brahmas but would they sound better in a sealed or ported box? I want good SQ and good SPL, but a little more emphasis on SQ. If i put them in a sealed box would it still give me good SPL? Or in a ported box would it still give me good SQ?

Also, whichever is better, sealed or ported what volume should the box be, what size should the port be and what should it be tuned to?

Yeh i agree bowtie.
A Snail shell enclosure would be slamming for a brahma or pair of brahmas.

Would a snail shell give me good SQ or just good SPL?

The ''snail shell'' enclosure was designed for increased sound quality.....The added SPL is just a bonus.

In other words, the brahma will have great sound quality and still be able to get loud.

So...it will provide a great mix of SQ and SPL..laters
