ok i've been taking your help,opinions,and support for the past feww days and have come up with my final choices to replace my 15 mtx 9500. they are(15" 's) X.X.X.--Brahamas--and IDmax. i want the closest match to 13w7. i've checked with audio shops but i can't find anyone to sample their ,above mentioned, subs. no one has them....IN L.A.!!!! mostly w7 around here. i dont want a w7 'cause to expensive,but if unmatched i'll have to get one. sub w/most votes wins
the triple X or Brahma is going to be your best match to a W7. They are very similar subs, using the same motor structure etc. I guess you could call them sister subs. The Brahma leans a bit more toward SQ, and the RE a bit more toward SPL as it has a longer excursion. The Brahma needs less power than the RE however, so figure around 600-800 watts for the Adire, and around 1000-1200+ for the RE.
the decision between them is yours however, but those are the facts on them. both are good companies, and good products.
