Help!!

I went to my local shop to have them build a box for my 11kv.2 sub. They said that it would be best to tune it between 48-55hz. But eD recommend 30 hz. They said that was to low for Daily Driving. Anyone have any insight on this.

45-55 is way toohigh. that'll sound like p00p.
go with the 30-34Hz range for tuning.
You want it to be tuned nice and low, near the Fs of the sub.
Then set subsonic filter to about 20Hz and set LPF to about 60-80Hz, with a Q of about 18dB.
you'll have a very nice setup.
for a 12" sub, I'd go with 2cu ft net enclosure volume

Hey Glass would it be better to have a single box built that will hold 2 10" and have it around 2.0cu ft and a single port. I was goin to do 2 seperate boxes at 1cu ft since this is in a truck. But Im sure i can get either done.

for tens, you'll either want one port per sub, minimum 3" ID, or a single 6" port.
anything smaller diameter would give you port whistle at higher output.

single box or individual boxes doesn't matter really as far as SQ goes. Its more a matter of looks and convenience to you.

PS for tens, you'd want about 1.5cu ft each ported.
0.8 to 1cu ft for sealed per sub
