ok i dont wanna sound like a newb but i am..when you power front componets how many actual watts do you need so you can increase the volume and notice a difference as if u werent powering them with an amp... (so the bass doesnt really drown out the music)

Most decent componet sets can handle 75+ watts, So just check the specs on your set of componets and power then to the max :D

Are you powering them with an amp?
to gain a difference over the internal amp of a HU youll need at least 30wRMS
based on your other post...
Id go with at least 60wRMS if not more.
