What would be the best amp to buy for 2 2ohm 500 rms watt subs. What would be the best amp to buy but not going over $300? And there 15 inch alpine subs if theres certain amps that go better with certain subs.
now with 2 channel amps (audiobahn A2300HCT) lets say the rms is 600 does that mean it can go 600 rms watts to one channel and 600 to the other or is it split in 300 rms watts a channel?
Hey counterstrike, that's 600W rms per channel. There's not much difference between 2 channel and mono amps. All you're trying to do is match the power of the amp to the speakers. What's good about 2 channel amp is that, it can be bridged into mono and get more power.
The biggest difference is power consumption. A two channel amp is a class a/b amp which uses more power. A mono amp is a class d amp which consumes much less.
