are these websites such as onlinecarstereo.com or sonicelectronix worth a sh*t? bc all of the stuff is like half price of what crutchfield sells it for. or is it like ebay where theres a 50/50 chance of it working?

etronix was cheaper but u had to pay shipping, on onlinecarstereo it ended up being cheaper bc u didnt have to pay shipping and the website looks to be put together better

Yeah I ordered 2 Rockford Punch HX2 off of etronix.com for 115 each. The same sub was 140 each off of Onlinecarstereo.com so it came out cheaper for me even though i paid 25 dollars shipping.

Crutchfield to me is a middleman that takes anything it can get its hands on and sell it at 7/5ths from other competitors. its just a brand name middleman.
like a Dealer location. Online you may buy from Warehouses and not pay high markups becouse of middlemen but then you may have to wait for shipping (depends what you order)
I personally like:
www.acaraudio.com
www.onlinecarsterio.com
for browesing, you can find better deals from others but they have more items at low prices.
http://www.cbrstereo.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=193
ebay cant touch that price, unless its used.
so good luck finding the good deals.
but seince I dont own a Car Audio shop, thats all I know.
they might have an edge that I dont know about.

*** http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/
they offer
"Warranty - Onlinecarstereo.com 1 Year warranty."
But I dont plan on blowing anything, I would however plan on sum1 trying to steal tho...

I knew the 300 wRMS but i need to know the Ohms the Voice coils are rated at.

the dual 4 ohms, so with a single amp u can either have a 4 ohm load or a one ohm load

Ouch, 4ohm loads are usally low on amps, and 1Ohm loads are on High end side with huge watts...
heres good canidates
JL Audio 500/1 @ 4Ohm- 100w short of your goal yet you gain the ablity to tune the bass to your liking... 419 @ acaraudio.com
Hifonics Brutus BX500D @1ohm - yet again 100w short $259.00 @ acaraudio.com ,side note "power of the gods included"

well all I could think of for just 1 amp.
anyone wanna add anything?

i was thinking about getting 2 alpine m301 amps, one amp for each sub, that way wire each to a 2 ohm load and get 350 watts. they are $338 for both shipped at onlinecarstereo.com, what do u think about that setup?

What about www.allcarstereo.com

They have some REALLY good deals but the website looks one the 'low-end' side.

Are they reputable, have any of u all dealt with them.

I have ordered several times from www.cardomain.com and they have been great. Awesome customer service and they have no issues with returns at all. Very good in my book. www.woofersetc.com definately has a wide variety and some good prices.
