If I get a box that is 1.3 cubic feet per chamber but my subs recommend 1.0 cubic feet is that ok? Could i put polyfill in the box?

sure ya could! wont make much of a diff - if u dont think it sounds right - add a bit of mdf inside to fill up some space.

I would check the specs on the subs first. Some are picky and won't like the diffrence. I disagree with the polly fill. It slows the air making the subs think they are in an even bigger box. You can however put mdf inside the box to fill up space. Just be sure to do a good job fastening it in place.
