i just bought a JBL GTQ 400 amp from someone i know. is it a good amp?

Yeah, Its a pretty good amp.
good for running a set of comps
or some low RMS subs.
Its worth about 100 bucks if its in good condition.

i have 2 200 watt RMS subs...4 ohms each..will it drive them pretty nice? i dont need anything super super loud..but somethin i can feel

That amp does 200x2 @4 ohms.
Thatll be about as good as you can get out of
the subs youve got.
how loud it gets depends on the box and the vehicle.

so i can bridge both of them and not have stability problems? since your bridging each sub between two channels, then the resistance will stay at 4 ohms right? im new to all this and i really dont know too much yet...but i figure since its a 4 channel, and your bridging each sub between 2 channels...then those two subs should stay at 4 ohms, and each get 200 watts right?

but will this amp be able to kick my subs and stay accurate at higher volume levels than my Punch 201s which i have now? my car is in the shop for a head gasket problem, and i bought this one from my friend..will it be alot better?

50x2 @4 vs 200x2 @4
It will be louder, and just as clean.
