I have 3 jl 10w3v2's and i was thinking should i go with 4 jl's or get 2 rockford hx2 15's? Which would pound harder? Im looking for SPL as well as SQ. My amp would supply 425 watts RMS @4ohms/850 watts @2ohms. That why i wanna add the 4th sub for some extra thump, but its hard for me to make my mind. Thanks Guys!

it really doesnt matter...

either way you'll have almost the same amount or surface area but if u were comparing 15" rockfords and 10" jls, go JLs over those crappy things anyday of the week

The discontinued lines:
http://www.jlaudio.com/subwoofers/discontinued.html
But you can still buy them on ebay and places like woofersetc.com
http://www.woofersetc.com/product.asp?0=314&1=318&3=2854

I would do the 10" JLs, instead of the 15s by the way.
