Amp and wiring for a pair of infinity perfect 10.1d's

I want to put the subs in seperate boxes. my question is should i run them in parallel or series, and what kind of amp should i get? like mono or 2 channel, and how many watts??? thanx
its_bacon12 Silver Member Username: Its_bacon12 Post Number: 161 Registered: 12-2003	Posted on Friday, February 20, 2004 - 01:42 GMT hmmm those run at 300 or 350w rms i believe... buy a JBL BP600.1 amplifier, about $210 but run the voice coils in paralell and the subs together in paralell and you'll end up with a 1 oihm load and that amp puts out 600w rms at 1 ohm, its practically a perfect matchup

Tim Shouder New member Username: Shouder Post Number: 8 Registered: 12-2003	Posted on Friday, February 20, 2004 - 18:14 GMT Another thing you could do is just run the voice coils in parallel to 2 ohm load. then get a 2 channel amp and run each sub to a channel at 2 ohms. This way you don't have to worry about over powering them.
