Does anyone know what the minimum ohm rating for the Alpine 9827? I dont have the manual anymore, and I was looking at a set of Orion components that are 3ohms and I was wondering if it would be safe to hook up to my Alpine 9827 until I get an amp in a few months. Also, is there any way to get both the front and rear channels of the HU to power the components. Can you bridge front and rear like you can left and right? Are Head Units bridgeable? Thanks.

the minimum impedance (nominal) is 4 ohms for the head unit.
the 3 ohm components should be ok as long as you don't push the system too hard and overheat it or drive it into clipping.

no, you cannot bridge a head unit. sorry.
