Ok, I am getting an amp that is rated at 150 X 2 @ 4ohm, 300 X 2 @ 2ohm, Rms power. I will be getting 2 Kicker comp 12" speakers for a start out. i want the bigger amp so i can upgrade later. But what i want to know is will the amp draw the same amount of power if i run it @ 4ohm receiveing 150 X 2 rms as it would if i run it at 2 ohm with 300 X 2 rms. Im saying will it draw the samp amount of amps from the alternater.

no
amps * volts = watts
at 2 ohms, you'll draw twice the current as at 4 ohms.

Ok good, So if i run it at 4 ohms i wont need to upgrade my alternater until i start running it at 2 ohms. I wont to get new speakers once i get enough money.

well you'll draw less current sure, but you'll get half the power to the speakers as a result..
if that's ok with you, then you're all set and ready to go.
