i bought 1 infinity perfect 12.1d sub and a JBL BP-600.1Z amp, i didnt realize about DVC , so now i am stuck running this at 150w at 8ohm or 600w at 2ohm, what do you guys suggest i do? run this at 8ohm or 2ohm? if i run it at 2ohm and dont blast it is there real cause for concern? or should i return this amp and get a new one and if so which one, i would rather not return this unless i absolutely have to, thanks

whats the rms of the sub? u could run it at 2 ohms but make sure you tune it right. set the gains correctly and bump responsibly. you should be ok.
i ordered the same amp a few days ago. i'm still waiting for it to arrive. did you buys yours from cardomain?

then what are you worried about your speaker can handle more than what that jbl 600.1z can put out.. you could hook it up regular and only turn your volume bout half up and you'd prolly be at RMS...
