What does front components consist off?

I posted a thread about 6x9s and was told not to get any. They recommended just to get my front components, but what are they? I upgraded my door speakers to some alpine type r's 6.5", but thats it, what else do i need?

u would replace ur 6.5's for components of the same size... they are basically the same size,,,, the difference is they contain a crossover to each speaker and have a separate tweeter that u can place in a different location to give u a different 'shape of sound'. its a 'component' 'composing' of a tweeter, woofer, crossover, and its a compound of the compounding elements of the composer>>>>just kidding on the compounding sentence.lol

if you already upgraded you door speaker to Alpine, you will be fine. Usually for $ savings you only need to have good front speakers because when your driving that all your ears will hear. You wont hear the speakers in the rear seats, so its really not that big of a deal.
