If i was to make a custom sub box how can you measure the internal cubic area, if you see what im getting at here lol. Or do you just have to kind of just guess??? say i wanted 1 cubic feet

LxWxH and subtract material thickness
then subtract the driver's displacement, and the volume of any ports.
that's your net volume.

oh, and if there are any angled sides, you calculate those with the area of a triangle then add it to the rest of the box volume.
No guessing at all. Purely geometry.
