Anyone know if my cda-9815 will work with Alpine's new KCA-420i iPod adapter?

I am expecting the 420i tomorrow from Crutchfield and hope to have it in this weekend. I am running the 9815 as well in my truck and am told by everyone that it should work. I can let you know what happens if you are interested.

I also own the CDA-9815, and am interested in KCA-420i's compatibility with this unit.

Well gents, just finished installing it. Works like a charm! :-)

It is a complex interface to use on the HU with all the different button combinations. It will take a little time to get use to it but it does work exactly as the demo on the web site explains.

Hope this helps.

I think the 9833 replaced the 9813
the 9815 is replaced by the 9835

all four are great units.
I use a 9813 in my jeep and a 7990 in the charger
