i really wanna do TL enclosure for my new x.x.x. 10" (or brahma, depending on that i get). I got a KX1200.1 amp for what ever i get coming.

Where can i find some info on how to build one of these enclosures? are there any calculators on the net (like one on bcae1.com for ported boxes) for TL enclosures?

Also, will TL's really give +3dB over a normal ported design?

thanks for any help you can give me!

bandpass can give up to +12dB over a sealed box depending on the order of the box.
Transmission Line enclosures will give good extended low end response with zero distortion. Very clean designs.
The trick is building them, and tuning them.. they tend to be very big.
I take it you're after a quarter-wave design, so here's some info on TL designs:

Would a 6th order bandpass be good for x.x.x. or brahma 10's. I'm thinking bout getting one of those.

my kx1200.1 just came in. could i do a 6th order w/ one of those subs and run this amp for comps?

also is there any kind of calculator of software out there that i could use to design a 6th order?

6th order is VERY hard to build, and difficult to design as well.
if you get one calculation wrong, you get to watch the cone get blown out of your sub the first time you try using it.
Also they sound like total crap and tend to be very big boxes, too.
6th order is really best left to the pros, and strictly for SPL events, and not at all for listening to.

WinISD is the only free software I know of.
There are programs for designing 6th order and other types of boxes but they are all commercial stuff.
