How does your speaker sound when it's clipping?

I am led to believe that my speakers are clipping. But I'm not sure whether it's 'clipping' or just loose wiring or static. Anyone have any idea how clipping sounds?

Also, my speakers keeps making this high pitch sound everytime my music is playing and I rev up my car. Is this interference?

the high pitched whine is alternator whine caused usually by a bad ground point, or the signal and power paths being run next to each other.

turn the gains up all the way on your amps. you'll hear plenty of clipping.

If i did that, would the clipping damage my speakers?

What's your recommendation to avoid from alternator whine?

yes clipping will damage speakers.
to fix the problem, check and be sure ground wires are as short as possible, and made with solid connections to sanded down bare metal. GOOD grounds.
also do not run power lines and RCA lines together. separate them so power goes down one side of the car and signal lines go down the middle or other side of the car.
check grounds for both the amps and the ehad unit.
